OK, I saw this episode, and the ninja lost because he was a total idiot. He didn't draw his weapon untill he was two feet from the Spartan; he exposed himself before drawing and loading his blow gun; and, he jumped on to the Spartan's sword. He deserved it for calling himself a ninja.
